Overview

XY622P, 1,4-Butanediol Diglycidyl Ether CAS No.: 2425-79-8 Structural formula: O(CH₂CH)CH₂O(CH₂)₄OCH₂(CHCH₂)O Appearance: Colorless transparent liquid, soluble in water, with no pungent odor. The molecule contains two epoxy groups, which participate in the curing reaction to form chain and network structures. It is commonly used as a toughening diluent for epoxy resins and is widely applied in epoxy systems such as solvent-free coatings, laminates, adhesives, and composite materials. As a fiber finishing agent, it can enhance the flexibility, fastness, alkali resistance, and dyeability of fibers. It is used in the finishing of cotton, linen, wool, silk, and other fabrics, and can improve the tensile strength of fibers.
