Overview

XY690A, Phenyl Glycidyl Ether Appearance: Colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid. The molecule contains a benzene ring, an ether bond, and an epoxy group. With rigid segments in its structure, it exhibits good heat resistance and anti-corrosion properties. It is widely used in the electronics, electrical, electromechanical, and machinery industries to reduce the viscosity of epoxy resins, and is suitable for application processes such as encapsulation, casting, and impregnation. It can also be used in adhesives. By reacting with polyamines, it can produce epoxy resin curing agents. For example, reacting with m-phenylenediamine yields 590 epoxy resin curing agent.
