XY216 Triethylene glycol diglycidyl ether
XY216, triethylene glycol diglycidyl ether,colorless to light yellow viscous liquid. A difunctional epoxy reactive diluent and flexible crosslinker. Core is a longer triethylene glycol chain with reactive glycidyl ether groups at ends. Provides excellent flexibility and some hydrophilicity while maintaining reactivity. Used as flexible reactive diluent for toughened epoxy systems (electronic potting, flexible coatings); as hydrophilic crosslinker for biocompatible hydrogels; for synthesis of modified polymers. Also for various epoxy casting compounds, solventless coatings, impregnating varnishes, adhesives.
