XY1225 1,3-Dioxolane
1,3-Dioxolane is a versatile cyclic ether with excellent solvency, miscible with both water and a wide range of organic solvents. Its low viscosity and good electrochemical stability make it a valuable solvent in lithium battery electrolytes, as well as a reagent or intermediate in organic synthesis. However, care must be taken to avoid contact with strong acids, which can trigger decomposition.
