HYT6508 Insulation & Heat Resistant Modified Epoxy Resin
HYT6508 is a modified epoxy resin grafted with multi-functional groups. The cured film features high crosslinking density and strong resistance to medium penetration, along with outstanding electrical insulation properties. It boasts excellent solvent resistance, chemical resistance and cathodic disbondment resistance. The glass transition temperature (Tg) of the coating film ranges from 120℃ to 160℃, and it passes the 2° bending test at -30℃ with favorable bending resistance. It is applicable to high-insulation materials, FEB, deep well pipelines, oil & gas transmission pipelines and industrial powder coatings. When matched with our curing agents HYH251CG01 or HYH251CG02, the system can pass the cathodic disbondment test at 85℃ for 30 days and the high-pressure boiling water test at 140℃ for 90 days. It complies with the coating requirements for marine environments as well as C4 and C5 corrosion categories.
