Overview

XY678L, Neopentyl Glycol Diglycidyl Ether Molecular formula: C₁₁H₂₀O₄ CAS No.: 17557-23-2 Appearance: Colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid. The molecule contains ether bonds and epoxy groups. It is used to reduce the viscosity of resin systems and participates in the curing reaction to form a homogeneous system. With good dilution effectiveness, excellent wettability, and low volatility, it is one of the ideal reactive diluents for epoxy resins. As a toughening diluent for epoxy resins, it is used in composite materials, anti-corrosion coatings, solvent-free coatings, laminates, adhesives, transparent epoxy systems for LEDs, and electrical casting epoxy systems.
