XY241 Flexible bisphenol A epoxy resin
Flexible bisphenol A epoxy resins are modified epoxy resins incorporated with flexible segments (e.g., polyethers, long carbon chains) through molecular design. While maintaining the high reactivity of epoxy groups, they drastically enhance the flexibility, impact resistance and adhesion of cured products. Regarding chemical stability, the resin itself is stable at ambient temperature, yet its epoxy groups readily undergo curing reactions with amine, anhydride and other curing agents. Strong acidic or alkaline environments may speed up reactions or cause degradation. It possesses favorable solubility and compatibility: soluble in ketones, esters, ethers and some aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, and miscible with various polymer resins for modification.
