XY240 Flexible bisphenol A epoxy resin
Flexible Bisphenol A Epoxy Resin is a type of modified epoxy resin with flexible segments (such as polyether and long carbon chains) introduced via molecular design. While retaining the high reactivity of epoxy groups, it greatly improves the flexibility, impact resistance and adhesion of cured products. In terms of chemical stability, the resin itself remains stable at room temperature, yet its epoxy groups tend to crosslink with amine, anhydride and other curing agents. Strong acidic or alkaline environments may accelerate curing reactions or trigger degradation. It boasts good solubility and compatibility: soluble in ketones, esters, ethers and partial aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, and blendable with various polymer resins for modification.
