HY604-815W Epoxy Resin Specially for Matte Powder Coatings
HY604-815W features excellent leveling and is specially developed for matte powder coatings; it cannot be used for high-gloss powder coatings. Under identical formulation, the gloss of finished powder coatings can be 3–4 degrees lower than standard Grade 604 epoxy resin. When using this special epoxy for matte powder, the dosage of 68 matting agent can be appropriately reduced to achieve excellent leveling and effectively control costs. Its performance with physical matting agents in hybrid systems is slightly inferior to that of 68 matting agent; independent formulation adjustment is recommended.
