HY615W Epoxy Resin Specially for Matte Powder Coatings
HY615W is an upgraded epoxy resin specially designed for matte and semi-matte powder coatings. Appearance: Powder coatings produced exhibit full appearance, good leveling and low gloss. Under identical formulation, the gloss can be 1–4 degrees lower compared with standard Grade 604 epoxy resin. Performance: Its physical and chemical properties are greatly improved and quality stability is better than conventional special epoxy for matte powder coatings (HY604-815W). Recommendation: Conventional special epoxy for matte powder coatings (HY604-815W) suits matte powder of pure epoxy systems (matched with 68 matting agent). The upgraded grade (HY615W) is suitable for matte and semi-matte powder of hybrid systems (matched with semi-physical semi-chemical or physical matting agents).
